Critical Care Cardiology Education Summit

Overview

This is will be the first annual national educational symposium for critical care cardiology. This conference will be held on May 30 June 1st, 2023 at the University of Minnesota Campus. The Summit will be led by an impressive list of expert faculty and thought leaders in critical care cardiology from across the country.

This conference (CCCES) will be a combination of small group exercises, hands-on procedural skills practice and discussions on topics pertinent to care of the sickest cardiology patient. The CCCES is designed to address pressing issues related to reducing mortality in cardiogenic shock, pulmonary embolism and cardiac arrest. In order to achieve this lofty goal, we feel a multipronged approach is imperative including developing a workforce of critical care trained cardiologists armed with a robust understanding of the literature and technical skills to shape this new field in cardiology.
