The Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at the University of Minnesota is growing and making exciting advances. Our team leads research and clinical care to help people with kidney-related conditions live healthier lives.

We have several subspeciality programs including onconephrology, women’s health, genetic kidney disease, diabetic kidney disease, transplant, glomerular disease, complex hypertension, kidney stones, electrolyte disorders, and basic science.

We also collaborate closely with the Minnesota VA and Hennepin Healthcare. These partnerships strengthen our efforts in patient care, education, and research, ensuring the best outcomes for people living with kidney disease and training for future healthcare professionals.
