Advocacy
Faculty and staff in the Division of General Internal Medicine are passionate advocates for change. Many division members participate in advocacy activities at the national, state, University, and local levels on key issues impacting patients, community, and health care professionals, including (but limited to) founding membership in Minnesota Doctors for Health Equity, leadership in Minnesota Association of Geriatrics Inspired Clinicians (MAGIC), providing care to underserved patient populations, and leadership of health equity leadership and mentoring programs.
