The 4th annual Critical Care Cardiology Education Summit (CCCES) will be held June 3-5, 2026, on the University of Minnesota – East Bank campus.

The CCCES has been designed to address pressing issues related to reducing mortality in cardiogenic shock, pulmonary embolism, and cardiac arrest. Each year, a theme is chosen to dive deeper into the literature, practices, and challenges that are routinely seen in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. This year CCCES 2026 will center on management of bleeding and coagulopathy in the Cardiac ICU. CCCES brings together expert faculty and thought leaders in cardiac arrest and critical care cardiology from across the country to train on these themes. One of CCCES’ primary goals is to develop a workforce of critical care-trained cardiologists armed with a robust understanding of the literature and technical skills to shape this new field in cardiology.

CCCES is a unique conference that offers a combination of small group exercises, hands-on procedural skills practice, and discussions on topics pertinent to cardiac patient care.
