  • Social Life & Wellness

While internal medicine residency training is rigorous, we have designed a reasonable program and take pride in the fact that our residents can truly “have a life” outside of medicine. We believe this will result in well rounded physicians, who will take better care of patients.

We sponsor and promote many social activities throughout the year. Some of them include the Intern Welcome Picnic which is held at a local park, the Resident Recognition Event held in Minneapolis or St Paul, and the Graduation Event held every June. Chief residents also organize intern appreciation on a monthly basis.

  • Scholarly Activity

Internal Medicine Residency Program Scholarly Activity

An important part of residency training is scholarly activity. Our program supports this by providing 5 days a year for professional development and $600 a year for academic expenses
