The Minnesota Cardiology Symposium 2024 (MNCS24) will be held on October 11, Friday, from 3:30-8:00 PM at the Radisson Blu Mall of America. This symposium aims to bring together professionals from various institutions and specialties to enhance cardiology knowledge and practices. 

Learning Objectives and Goals:

  1. Enhance Knowledge and Skills: Provide up-to-date information on cardiology diagnostics, treatments, and management strategies.
  2. Train Providers: Equip primary care providers with the tools they need to deliver high-quality cardiology care.
  3. Foster Collaboration: Promote an interdisciplinary approach by bringing together professionals from different institutions and specialties.
  4. Community Engagement: Strengthen the ties between academic and clinical communities to support ongoing education and improvement in cardiology care.

Origins and Collaboration: The symposium represents a unique collaboration between three major institutions: the Veterans Affairs (VA) Health System, Hennepin Healthcare, and the University of Minnesota (UMN). This alignment allows for the sharing of diverse expertise and resources, ensuring a rich and varied educational experience.

Purpose of the Course: The primary purpose of this symposium is to provide high-quality, comprehensive cardiology education to primary care providers, including physicians, PAs, NPs, and RNs. This academic community collaboration ensures that attendees receive the latest advancements and best practices in cardiology. By equipping healthcare professionals with cutting-edge knowledge, the symposium aims to improve patient outcomes and promote a collaborative approach to cardiology care.
