Education
Providing the highest quality education for the next generation of physicians, training the next generation of academic teachers and researchers and promoting the scholarship of education are central goals of the Department of Medicine (DOM).
The Department of Medicine provides excellent broad-based training in a scholarly environment for future academic leaders. Our aim is to draw from people with a variety of backgrounds and life experiences to reach a new level of innovation in teaching, research, and patient care.
With an abundance of clinical training sites, the education programs within the department are uniquely situated to take advantage of the Twin Cities’ advanced, well-organized health care market.
With exciting new leadership and curricula built upon a prestigious academic tradition, we seek the nation's most talented, thoughtful, and forward-looking learners for our medical student and graduate medical education programs.
