Dr. Boyangzi “Kat” Li is a critical care cardiologist at the University of Minnesota with prior training in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and critical care medicine. Her academic interests focus on the management of complex cardiac conditions, including cardiogenic and mixed shock, mechanical circulatory support, and post-cardiac arrest care. She has a particular research interest in optimizing cardiac arrest management and understanding the machine-human interface in VA-ECMO. Dr. Boyangzi is currently in training as a cannulator in order to join the mobile ECMO team and community ECMO program.
