Daniel Murphy, MD, MS

Dr. Murphy earned his medical degree from the University of California San Francisco. He then completed his internal medicine residency, nephrology fellowship, and Master of Science in Clinical Research degree at the University of Minnesota. He is currently a nephrologist at the University of Minnesota and a clinical researcher with a particular interest in the interplay between acute kidney injury (AKI) and chronic kidney disease (CKD). Dr. Murphy attends in general nephrology clinic, with a particular interest in the care for patients who have experienced AKI, along with attending at the University of Minnesota Medical Center hospital.
