Dr. Jennifer Haglund is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Minnesota. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Following internal medicine training, she completed her Gastroenterology and an additional year of Transplant Hepatology training at Vanderbilt University. She has served as the Assistant Program Director of the GI Fellowship since 2022. Dr. Haglund is the GI and Hepatology co-course director for the University of Minnesota Medical School; and serves as a Clinical Skills Facilitator for the first- and second-year medical students. Her clinical interests include autoimmune liver diseases, cirrhotic cardiomyopathy and other cardiac and liver disease, and long-term care of the adult liver transplant recipient. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and two dachshunds. Her other hobbies include art, reading British mystery novels, and traveling.
