Summary
Dr. Plesac is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Minnesota. She earned her medical degree from Rush Medical College and completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota. Following her residency, Dr. Plesac served in the role of UMMC Internal Medicine Chief Resident while also completing an Editorial Fellowship for the Journal of Hospital Medicine. Dr. Plesac has held numerous teaching and leadership positions in both undergraduate and graduate medical education. She served as the UMMC Internal Medicine Clerkship Site Director and was subsequently the UMMC Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency. She was named as Program Director for the University of Minnesota Internal Medicine Residency in 2024. Dr. Plesac's research and teaching interests include clinical coaching, expertise development, and clinical reasoning. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and practices inpatient medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical Center Fairview.
