Brian Hilliard, MD

Dr. Brian Hilliard is an Internal Medicine and Pediatric hospitalist at the University of Minnesota and an associate professor of medicine within the Department of Medicine. He is the associate director for clinical hospital medicine within the Division of Hospital Medicine and senior medical director for subspecialty care units at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. He serves on a number of committees with a focus on quality improvement and professional enhancement. He has worked on multiple health system and medical center projects (most recently opioid stewardship and interdisciplinary bedside rounding). Additionally, he is the co-site lead for a study funded by AHRQ (ADEPT - Achieving Diagnostic Excellence through Prevention and Teamwork).
