Summary
Dr. Ahmed graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Khartoum, Khartoum, Sudan, in 2009. He earned a Master of Science degree with first-class honors in Clinical Research from the National University of Ireland, Galway, Ireland. Dr. Ahmed completed his Internal Medicine residency training at Rochester Regional Health - Unity Hospital in Rochester, NY, and he was Chief Resident. In 2024, Dr. Ahmed completed an Endocrinology fellowship at the University of Minnesota. Currently, he holds the position of Assistant Professor in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Ahmed is actively involved in clinical and translational research, contributing significantly to advancements in his field.
