Summary
Dr. Yeo is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, and critical care medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and certified in adult comprehensive echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography. Prior to cardiology training, Dr. Yeo served as an assistant professor of medicine and hospitalist at the Icahn School of Medicine / Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. In addition, he has an MS in epidemiology from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University.
Dr. Yeo attended medical school at Kyungpook National University School of Medicine, South Korea. He completed his internal medicine residency at New York Medical College and subsequently completed his general cardiology fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital and an interventional fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center. In his final years of training, he moved to the Midwest, and completed a critical-care fellowship at the Mayo Clinic (Rochester).
