Dr. Amisha is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation at the University of Minnesota. She treats patients with B- and T-cell lymphoma using T-cell–redirecting therapies — including chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy and bispecific antibodies (BsAbs) — and autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Her research focuses on CAR-T and BsAb immune- and non-immune-mediated toxicities, predictive biomarkers of their outcomes, and development of novel predictive scores and endpoints. Her work has been presented at national and international meetings, published in peer-reviewed journals, and recognized with internal grants and several awards, including an ASH Abstract Achievement Award and an ASTCT Outstanding Abstract Travel Grant.
Dr. Amisha earned her medical degree at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences–Rishikesh, completed internal medicine residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and finished her hematology and medical oncology fellowship at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, training on the blood and marrow transplant and CAR-T track and serving as chief administrative fellow.
