Dr. Schultz attended medical school at Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago, Illinois and completed her internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Schultz continued her training with an advanced heart failure fellowship at the University of Utah. In 2022, she returned to the University of Minnesota, joining the Advanced Heart Failure section as an Assistant Professor of Medicine. In 2024, Dr. Schultz was appointed as the Medical Director of the Mechanical Circulatory Support program and has an impressive track record of publishing and presenting LVAD-related research.
