Summary
Dr. Mirna Boumitri joined the faculty at the University of Minnesota in 2010 after completing internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Boumitri's clinical interests include hypertension, pregnancy-related kidney issues, chronic kidney disease, and dialysis. She enjoys clinical education for medical students, residents, and fellows training at the University. Dr. Boumitri's research interests include hypertension, kidney disease progression, pregnancy, and quality improvement in chronic kidney disease management and dialysis. She was recognized as a Top Doctor by Minnesota Monthly Magazine. Dr. Boumitri is the Clinical Director of the Nephrology Division and the Medical Director for the University Dialysis Unit.
