Dr. Klomjit graduated magna cum laude from Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand. He then completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Hawaii, followed by a nephrology fellowship in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Since July 2021, Dr. Klomjit has been a faculty member in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at the University of Minnesota. He manages a wide range of kidney conditions, including hypertension, acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and dialysis. His special interests include autoimmune kidney disorders (glomerulonephritis), kidney diseases in cancer patients (onconephrology), and thrombotic microangiopathy.
Dr. Klomjit has published in several high-impact, peer-reviewed journals. He serves on the Research and Position Statement Committee of the American Society of Onconephrology and is also a member of the United States Thrombotic Microangiopathy Alliance (USTMA), a national organization that promotes research, education, and patient care in thrombotic microangiopathy. In addition, he is a site principal investigator for several nephrology clinical trials.
