Name: Lisa Moe
Satya has a long standing interest in understanding the stem cell mediated regenerative biology with a focus on the cardiovascular development. His current research has made seminal progress in generating humanized vasculature and skeletal muscle in gene edited swine models. Improving the human-pig chimerism to ultimately develop functional human organs in swine models is the long term goal of his research.
