    Cardiac short course

    PHSL5510 Advanced Cardiac Physiology & Anatomy short course

    January 3-7, 2022
    Mayo Auditorium, East Bank Campus

    The Cardiac Short course is an intense one-week lecture and laboratory experience designed for industry biomedical engineers, postdoctoral trainees, and graduate students.

    • Lectures on basic cardiac anatomy, physiology, and associated clinical topics.
    • Small group lab experiences with detailed dissections of the human heart chest wall, thoracic cavity, and heart using human cadavers.
    • Live demonstrations including 12-lead EKG and echocardiography.
