Why I Chose the University of Minnesota Medical School
I really feel like the faculty members care about students and are passionate about teaching and are excited to help students reach their career goals.
Medical Interests
My initial inspiration for medicine grew out of the challenges that my own family and members of my community faced accessing medical care living in a low income and rural area. I was particularly inspired by physicians in Northern MN that went above and beyond for their patients and how impactful they were to my community.
Community Involvement
Learning to meet patients where they are at and how to work with people to find treatment plans that fit their personal goals, lifestyle, and access to care.

Personal Interests
I love spending time outdoors, I particularly like spending time on the lake in the summer and cross country skiing in the winter!
