Training Experience

Our curriculum integrates core basic scientific and clinical education from the start of year one.

Students in the University of Minnesota MSTP participate in a variety of MSTP activities throughout all phases of training that integrate science and medicine.

MSTP provides extensive and continuous mentoring and advising for students throughout all phases of our program.

Volunteer in the Community

Students at the University of Minnesota Medical school may volunteer their time at the Phillips Neighborhood Clinic (PNC), a student-run, clinician-supervised clinic offering health care to under-served communities in Minneapolis. Medical students work alongside other Academic Health Center students at the PNC to bring affordable or free care to patients in need.
