Foster new research and interactions by selecting and funding innovative projects that engage the capabilities of the Research Cores to push the envelope in neural circuit research

A chief goal of the University of Minnesota's Center for Neural Circuits in Addiction is to extend and enhance the research capabilities of NIH-funded addiction research projects at the University of Minnesota (UMN). Additional goals of the Center are to invigorate new research and new collaborations. Together, these goals enrich the entire addiction research community. The Pilot Projects Core (PPC) provides the means to foster new research and interactions by selecting and funding specific high-quality innovative projects.
