2025
The 2025 retreat was held at the UMN Landscape Arboretum on July 10, 2025. Our keynote speaker was Tyler Bold, M.D., Ph.D. from the UMN Department of Medicine.
2024
The 2024 retreat was held at the UMN Landscape Arboretum on July 22. Sarah Wernimont M.D, Ph.D. of UMN Maternal Fetal Medicine was this year's invited keynote speaker.
2023
This year's retreat was held in Duluth, MN at the Holiday Inn & Suites on July 25, 2023 with keynote speaker UMN MSTP alumnus Thomas Suszynski, M.D., Ph.D.
2022
The 2022 annual MSTP retreat was held at Big Sandy Resort in McGregor, MN July 12-13, 2022. UMN Assistant Professor of Medicine Joan Beckman, M.D., Ph.D. was this year's keynote speaker.
2019
This year's annual retreat was held July 22-23, 2019 at Ruttger's Bay Lake Lodge in Deerwood, MN, the first overnight retreat in quite some time! Peter Crawford, M.D., Ph.D. was this year's keynote speaker.
2018
The 2018 MSTP annual retreat was held at the Como Zoo and Conservatory 7/26/2018. This year's keynote speaker was Sophia Vinogradov, M.D. from the University of Minnesota's Department of Psychiatry.
2017
Our 2017 annual retreat was held at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chaska, MN on July 24, 2017. Doug Yee, MD was chosen as this year's keynote speaker.

The 2016 retreat was held near the UMN campus at Surly Brewing Co Beer Hall & Restaurant on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 with keynote speaker Jakub Tolar, MD, PhD.
