Summary
Dr. McDonald-Hyman is a physician-scientist whose clinical and research interests are both centered on allogeneic
stem cell transplants. Clinically, he takes care of patients who are undergoing allogeneic stem cell transplant, including the potential complications that may occur after transplant, such as graft-vs-host disease and blood cancer relapse. His research is aimed at improving outcomes after stem cell transplant, with particular interest in preventing and treating graft-vs-host disease, and using targeted cellular therapies to prevent blood cancer relapse after transplant.
