Dr. Wajahat Khalil is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Minnesota, Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. He is Board-Certified in Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep and Internal Medicine and is the Sleep Medicine Program Director for M Health-Fairview. He has clinical expertise in managing patients with complicated sleep disordered breathing, particularly in patients with advanced lung and heart diseases and use of Non-Invasive Ventilation. Other clinical interests include managing patients with Circadian Rhythm Sleep Disorders. His research interests and recent work involved exploring and advancing use of telemedicine tools for timely diagnosis and provision of comprehensive sleep medicine clinical care.
