Catalog Description: 

Acting Internship in Diagnostic Radiology is to be taken after the Diagnostic Radiology elective. Students will function similar to a first year radiology resident, dictating radiology reports and performing procedures under supervision. Course sign up is by approval.

Typical weekly schedule/Delivery Mode:  M-F, 7:30am 4:30pm

Course Objectives: 

Students will rotate through one radiology reading room for 4 weeks, gaining the skills and proficiency of imaging and procedures interpreted and performed in that subspecialty.

Graded Components: 

Quality of reporting, diagnostic accuracy, professionalism.

Grading Scale:  H/E/S/N
