Catalog Description: Histology puts biochemistry, molecular biology and physiology in the context of cell structure and function. This lecture and laboratory course covers the microscopic structure of the body using light and electron microscopic techniques. The first half of the course covers methods of morphology, cell biology and tissues. The second half of the course covers the functional histology of organs and organ systems. The content for each topic is covered in two lectures and one lab session. 
Prior to Fall 2019, this course was 2 credit hours.
