Catalog Description: The course introduces specific drugs and provides context around how these drugs work, why they are used, what sets them apart from related drugs, and predictable adverse consequences associated with their use. Students will develop a strong working understanding of fundamental concepts related to drug-receptor interactions and drug-induced effects on living systems.
