Catalog Description: The Foundations of Medicine course is an introduction to cellular homeostatic principles and mechanisms associated with normal and abnormal structure and function. Basic science principles of integrative medical sciences. Interdisciplinary sessions emphasize fundamental concepts of biochemistry, molecular biology, anatomy, microbiology, physiology, and pharmacology.
