Dr. Morgan is a senior research scientist at Gillette Children’s in St. Paul, MN, and an associate professor at the University of Minnesota. She is the scientific director of the Spine Research Program at Gillette Children’s and leads research focused on clinical outcomes for children with scoliosis.

Dr. Morgan’s research focuses on clinically meaningful outcomes related to operative and non-operative treatments for scoliosis, comparative effectiveness of scoliosis treatments, development and testing of outcome measures, and the development of clinical guidelines to inform evidence-based care. She also conducts research related to care for people who use orthoses and prostheses.

Dr. Morgan is an active volunteer in professional organizations. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Orthotics and Prosthetics Foundation for Education and Research, where she is the vice chair. She is also a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Prosthetics and Orthotics and serves on the Medical and Scientific Advisory Committee for So Everybody Can Move.
