Kathleen Miller, MD, FAAP
Biography
Kathleen (Katy) K Miller is board certified in pediatrics with a subspecialty certification in adolescent medicine. Areas of expertise include primary care for adolescent and young adult patients, diagnosis and medical management of eating disorders, sexual and reproductive health, adolescent brain development, mental health of young people, minor consent and confidentiality, and global adolescent health. She is a faculty member for the adolescent medicine rotation with the Department of Pediatrics, and enjoys teaching learners and colleagues. Her clinical time is spent at Boynton Health, the University of Minnesota's student health clinic. Her clinical practice is informed by principles of weight inclusivity and trauma informed care, and she deeply values the opportunity to work with immigrant and refugee populations. She is recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor and Minnesota Monthly Top Doctor, honors awarded to physicians nominated by their peers and selected for excellence in clinical care, professional achievement, and patient outcomes.
