Celebrating Our 2025 Rising Stars

Congratulations to the 23 Department of Medicine faculty recognized in Mpls.St.Paul Magazine’s 2025 Top Doctors: Rising Stars list! This annual honor celebrates early-career physicians for their exceptional patient care, leadership, and contributions to the future of medicine during their first decade of practice.

This year, 112 University of Minnesota Physicians (M Physicians) across 34 specialties made the list, more than one quarter of all honorees and the most from any practice in the state.

“These Rising Stars are leaders in their disciplines, bringing research discoveries directly to patients and preparing their trainees to do the same,” said Bevan Yueh, MD, MPH, CEO of M Physicians and Vice Dean for Clinical Affairs at the U of M Medical School.
