Cardiology for Primary Care

Catalog Description: During this 2-week course students will participate in cardiology inpatient rounds. They will work 1:1 with the rounding cardiologist. Responsibilities include the initial cardiology consultation and daily rounds on patients in the hospital. There may be additional opportunities to shadow in the cardiovascular laboratory and procedural areas as well as cardiac rehab and cardiology clinic. This course is for all students regardless of their specialty interests, not just for those interested in primary care.
