Catalog Description:  

Learn to evaluate and treat people experiencing their first episode of psychosis and their families, with a particular focus on schizophrenia spectrum disorders. Rotate through two outpatient multidisciplinary clinics, as well as an adult inpatient unit. Participate in new patient evaluations, follow-ups, and treatment planning meetings in the clinic, and admissions, rounding, family meetings, and discharges on the inpatient unit.

Note: Students who rotated with First Episode Psychosis during ADPY 7535 should not take this course as the experience would be equivalent.
