Dr. Keckeisen believes strongly in a team-based, collaborative approach to health and wellness. Her therapeutic style is flexible and personalized, drawing from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and time-limited psychodynamic therapy to meet each person’s unique needs. She especially enjoys working with individuals navigating chronic pain, sleep issues or sexual health concerns. Her goal is to walk alongside her patients in their care, helping them to build tools that support lasting change and a better quality of life, while also working closely with their broader healthcare team.
Regarding teaching, Dr. Keckeisen is passionate about educating residents about behavioral health, providing feedback, and direct communication. She is passionate about equipping residents with the skills and tools needed to excel in their family medicine practice.
