Biography

Bio

Dr. Langland received his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota and graduated from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. He completed both a Family Practice residency at Fairview/St. Mary's Hospitals and an Internal Medicine residency at Abbot-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. From 1983 to 2010 he practiced general internal medicine in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. From 2004 to 2012 he was a member of the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice including its president in 2011. He completed a Bush Fellowship in Sports Medicine and is certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine and Sports Medicine. His interests include aging, obesity, musculoskeletal medicine and the therapeutic and prophylactic use of exercise in health care.
