Summary
Following the completion of my gastroenterology training at Johns Hopkins, I joined the faculty of The University of Colorado as a therapeutic endoscopist and clinical scientist. With the birth of my first child, my wife and I wished to relocate closer to family and I was fortunate to join the excellent therapeutic group here at the University of Minnesota. Patient satisfaction is the ultimate outcome to which I judge a successful intervention. I strive to provide the best care for my patients and in doing so consider not only the problem at hand but also the person as a whole. As all therapeutic procedures carry risk, I carefully weigh these against the potential benefits, including the patient as part of the therapeutic team.
