- Invitations to interview are sent primarily in the first two weeks of September
- Interviews are conducted virtually September through November on weekdays

Applicants must be:
• Board certified or board eligible graduates of an ACGME-accredited residency in family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, physical medicine and rehabilitation, or emergency medicine
• U.S. citizens, or have permanent resident status or a J-1 visa
Applicants must have:
• Graduated from an LCME- or AOA- accredited medical school or a medical school outside the U.S., Canada, or Puerto Rico with one of the following:
• A current, valid certificate from ECFMG
• An unrestricted license or residency permit to practice medicine in Minnesota or eligibility for a Minnesota license
• Successful completion of a Fifth Pathway Program in an LCME-accredited medical school
• Completed Steps 1, 2, and 3 of the USMLE or equivalent licensing examinations (i.e., COMLEX)
• Personal statement
• Photograph
• Residency director's reference letter (include anticipated/actual graduation date)
• Reference letters (minimum of two)
• Current CV - ERAS format
• Medical School Performance Evaluation (MSPE) and medical school transcripts
• Published abstract or title page for all publications
• Copy of program for all presentations
• Signed copy of AMSSM Fellowship Directors Code of Ethics for the Match
Please note: International graduates must also provide a valid ECFMG certificate, and non-U.S. citizens must provide a valid J-1 visa certificate/copy of green card.
