USA Soccer Cup Course

Didactics: 

  • Wednesday, July 10, 2024 and Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Health Science Education Center
  • Friday, July 12, 2024, 8:00 a.m. - noon, asynchronous online

Rotation: Friday, July 12 - Saturday, July 20, 2024 at the National Sports Center in Blaine, MN.

USA Soccer Cup is a 2.5-day course for participants to learn and practice the skills necessary to manage many sports injuries, such as:

  • Acute sideline management
  • Concussion evaluation
  • Splinting
  • MSK ultrasound
  • Injuries of the ankle, hand, knee, neck, shoulder, and soft tissue

Participants may have the opportunity to provide medical coverage in clinic and on the sidelines at the Target USA CUP International Youth Soccer Tournament, held at the National Sports Center in Blaine, Minnesota.

Registration

Registration is for non-University of Minnesota family medicine residents, medical students, and community physicians or healthcare professionals. Fees include tuition, syllabus, parking, and lunch.
