USA Soccer Cup

Didactics: Online is Wednesday, July 7, 2027 and Thursday, July 8, 2027 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. In-person asynchronous didactics in the morning Friday, July 9, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (estimated) at the University of Minnesota Health Sciences Education Center.

Rotation: July 7, 2027 - July 17, 2027

Rotations are held at the National Sports Center in Blaine, MN.

USA Soccer Cup is a 2.5-day course for participants to learn and practice the skills necessary to manage many sports injuries, such as:

  • Acute sideline management
  • Concussion evaluation
  • Splinting
  • MSK ultrasound
  • Injuries of the ankle, foot, hand, wrist, knee, shoulder, hip, lumbar spine, and soft tissue

Participants may have the opportunity to provide medical coverage in clinic and on the sidelines at the Target USA CUP International Youth Soccer Tournament, held at the National Sports Center in Blaine, Minnesota.

Registration

Registration is for non-University of Minnesota family medicine residents, medical students, and community physicians or healthcare professionals. Fees include tuition, syllabus, parking, and lunch.
