Department of Family Medicine and Community Health faculty, alumni, colleagues, staff, and friends gathered at the Weisman Art Museum for the second Macaran A. Baird, MD, Lecture in Family Medicine and Community Health Leadership on Tuesday, May 9. The featured guest speaker, Cristy Page, MD, MPH—executive dean of the University of North Carolina School of Medicine—gave an inspiring talk about building the pipeline of future family medicine doctors. She also shared her journey in medicine and her experience in various leadership roles. After Dr. Page’s lecture, guests enjoyed appetizers while visiting with one another.
