Comprehensive Hypertension Center Opens at CSC, supporting complex patients

The Comprehensive Hypertension Center–a multidisciplinary collaboration between Nephrology, Cardiology, and Endocrinology–opened this month (April 2024) at the Clinics and Surgery Center (CSC). 

This comprehensive outpatient clinic is open on Wednesday mornings in the nephrology clinic, supporting complex patients with resistant, uncontrolled, and possibly secondary hypertension.

A multidisciplinary team of specialists and nurse coordinators review referrals to ensure personalized care. Complex evaluation includes ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, labs, advanced imaging, and, when appropriate, interventional procedures such as renal nerve denervation and surgery.
