Department of Medicine Celebrates Faculty Excellence & Contributions in 2023 | Medical School

Hosted by Department Chair Betsy Seaquist, MD, faculty members gathered inside the Campus Club for a recognition reception to celebrate the impacts and contributions by colleagues throughout 2023.

The annual reception was held on Thursday, November 9 to celebrate and award fellow faculty in the areas of clinical care, education, research, diversity, equity and inclusion, and service and achievement.

The reception welcomes colleagues from Hennepin Healthcare, Minneapolis VA Health Care System, Regions Hospital, and University of Minnesota Medical Center. This year’s event included a social gathering, awards ceremony with faculty presenters, and closing remarks from Vice Chair of the Office of Faculty Affairs and Development, Brian Sick, MD.

Thank you to all those who contributed to the event’s success as we celebrate the impacts made by all faculty in 2023!
