#UMNMedicine Faculty Named Mpls.St.Paul Magazine Top Doctors: Rising Stars 2024

On April 1, Mpls.St.Paul Magazine released its annual Top Doctors: Rising Stars Edition to recognize up-and-coming physicians for outstanding achievements in their first decade as professionals. This year, 26 Department of Medicine faculty were named to the 10th edition of the list.

To determine the list, local physicians were asked  to nominate one or more doctors to whom they would go for their own or a loved one’s medical care. Candidates were then grouped into 46 specialties and evaluated on peer recognition, professional achievement, disciplinary history, and various other factors. Finally, doctors with the highest scores were asked to sit on a panel to evaluate the other candidates in their shared category.
