Department of Medicine Faculty Awarded GME Clinical Teaching Excellence Award

Congratulations to the eight Department of Medicine (DOM) faculty members awarded the 2023 Graduate Medical Education (GME) Clinical Teaching Excellence Award!

The Clinical Teaching Excellence Award is granted annually to clinical faculty who have scored in the top 10% on the standardized trainee evaluation of faculty performance administered by the GME office during the past academic year. To be eligible for the award, faculty need to receive a minimum number of evaluations from a variety of reviewers. The award is both unique and meaningful, as it is based solely on resident and fellow evaluation of faculty performance in their role as educators.
