Reviewed annually in the fall, the Medical School Wall of Scholarship in the Phillips-Wangensteen Building is a physical representation of research excellence at the University of Minnesota. David Boulware, MD, Martin Freeman, MD, and Radha Rajasingham, MD from the Department of Medicine were three of six recipients recognized for their research success in 2023 and honored with plaques on the Wall of Scholarship.

The annual Dean’s Distinguished Research Lectureship & Wall of Scholarship Recognition ceremony was held on Tuesday, November 14, at the Northrop Best Buy Theater to recognize this year’s honorees formally.

The Wall of Scholarship was established in 2014 to promote research excellence. To be named on the wall, certain criteria must be successfully met. Faculty must have a primary appointment in our Medical School and have first or last author credits on a publication cited at least 1,000 times as indicated by two of three major citation indices (Google Scholar, Scopus, Web of Science).

Join us in congratulating Drs.Boulware, Freeman, and Rajasingham for this achievement.

Take a trip to check out the Wall of Scholarship on the 2nd floor of the Phillips-Wangensteen Building near the Bio-Medical Library!
