Dr. Kelly is a University of Minnesota Assistant Professor of Medicine, general medicine hospitalist, and medicine and pediatrics primary care physician at the Community and University Health Care Center, where he also treats opioid dependence. He received his medical training at the Wayne State School of Medicine, and did his residency in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota. He also was honored to serve as a Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota, VA site. He has been a buprenorphine-waivered provider since 2016. His primary research interests include quality improvement in both the inpatient and outpatient realms, as well as in education, especially in improving access to care for chemical health, both in and out of the hospital. He also has a focus on mentorship and coaching graduate and undergraduate medical education. Finally, he also is interested in improving health disparities locally and globally.

Dr. Michael Kim joined the faculty of the Department of Pediatrics in the Division of Academic General Pediatrics as a hospitalist after completing his bachelor's degree, Medical School, and residency training at the University of Minnesota. Additionally, Dr. Kim did his residency at the University of Minnesota in the Department of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Residency Programs. From 2005-2006, Dr. Kim served as Chief Resident in Pediatrics. A member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Kim also has extensive international experience having completed a global health course in tropical medicine at the University of Minnesota, and an elective rotation in internal medicine and pediatrics at Chiang Mai University Hospital in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Dr. Kim is a Pediatric hospitalist at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital and will work with Dr. Abe Jacob on improving inpatient care delivery and building the general pediatric inpatient service.

Dr. Jonathan Kirsch is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed his residency training at Hennepin County Medical Center in Internal Medicine. His clinical interest is the inpatient care of adults, along with a focus on medical education, program development for underserved populations and global health research. He has worked in Hospital Medicine in Ithaca, NY and at the University of North Carolina where he was Associate Director of the Hospital Medicine Program. He has also worked in Farmworker Health in New York and North Carolina. He served as a Fulbright Scholar from 2017-2018 in Cali, Colombia. He is a Core Faculty of the Global Health Pathway here at the University of Minnesota and directs the Inter-professional Migrant Health Rotation.

Dr. Krohn is an internal medicine and pediatric hospitalist and Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota. She completed medical school and residency here in internal medicine and pediatrics. She completed the Stanford University - NBC News Fellowship in Global Health and Media in 2013 and spent two years working with Health Frontiers in Laos, teaching in the country's internal medicine and pediatric residency programs. Dr. Krohn believes everyone should be equipped with the tools they need to understand their health and to make healthy choices. As the Director of Online Content for our Global Medicine Program, Dr. Krohn works to ensure that providers know how to care for people from diverse backgrounds including underrepresented minorities, immigrants, and refugees right here in Minnesota. As the "thread" lead for medical communications with lay audiences in our Becoming a Doctor course for third and fourth-year medical students, Dr. Krohn teaches students strategies to improve their ability to talk with anyone about their health.

Dr. Kuross completed his medical training in 2017 at Touro University California and then completed his residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Internal Medicine. He started working as a Hospitalist at the University of Minnesota in 2020 and has recently joined the Addiction Medicine team practicing clinical addiction medicine. Dr. Kathleen Lane, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Minnesota. She earned her medical degree at the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Minnesota. She is a graduate of the U of M's Resident Leadership Academy and the Clinician Educator Pathway.
