Medical interests: I’m interested in full-spectrum family medicine, with a special focus on rural health and preventive medicine. My mother supported me throughout my medical journey and remained my biggest inspiration during her own battle with cancer. Through her experience, I saw the deep impact a clinician can have on a patient’s life. I hope to carry that forward by becoming an impactful and compassionate physician for those facing their own health struggles.

Personal interests: When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll probably find me chasing after my spirited toddler, traveling the world, exploring new cities with my husband, or planning our next spontaneous road trip. I love cooking comfort food (with my toddler as my sous-chef and my husband as the official taste tester), decorating cozy spaces, and turning everyday routines into something joyful. Travel, laughter, and a bit of organized chaos keep me going.

Why Willmar: I was drawn to the University of Minnesota Willmar Rural Family Medicine Program for its full-spectrum, unopposed training and strong commitment to underserved communities. My interview day left a lasting impression — every interaction with the faculty felt genuine, welcoming, and inspiring. The knowledgeable and supportive staff foster a learning environment where I knew I would thrive from the very beginning. I look forward to growing in an inclusive and diverse program, and becoming the best and most well-prepared physician I can be.

Career goals: My goal is to practice full-spectrum family medicine in both rural and urban underserved communities, with special interests in primary care, inpatient medicine, and women’s health. I’m especially drawn to caring for women, immigrants, and multicultural families, and I hope to create a welcoming space for patients from all backgrounds.
