Heidi Malling, MD

I work primarily as a hospitalist at Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital. I also do some shifts in the ED and am adjunct faculty at the Grand Itasca Rural Family Medicine Residency Program. I have enjoyed a nearly 30-year career in rural family medicine, having transitioned from full scope including OB to residency faculty to now primarily hospital practice.

I taught for six years as family medicine residency faculty (four years as program director) and taught for many years as an RPAP and St. Scholastica preceptor. I love working with students.
