Philip Imholte, MD

In my time at Grand Itasca, I provided full spectrum care in clinic, hospital, obstetrics, and emergency medicine. In 2023 I transitioned to working primarily as a hospitalist with some ED coverage. Family medicine is a great choice as it allows physicians to adapt to future changes in healthcare and pursue their areas of interest. Teaching is enjoyable, and I look forward to helping train residents.

Outside of work I enjoy running, biking, swimming, nordic skiing, gardening, and cooking. I enjoy educating receptive patients on ways they can take personal responsibility to improve their health through diet and exercise.

Active with Project Care free clinic. Previous chair of the local mountain bike club. CHOP with a doc - cooking and healthy eating presentations.
